First Light Capital is an independent commercial property fund manager based in Auckland. When they came to us they had an idea, a plan and a tight deadline: a brand built and in market in little over a month. Before they could raise a dollar, they needed to look like a business investors could trust with theirs.

That’s the hard part for any new fund. Investors back people they trust, and trust takes time to earn. A new manager with no track record, a stand-in logo and a thin website gets judged on all three before anyone reads the numbers. Look unproven and you lose the meeting.

So we ran it as an all-hands-on-deck job. A brand workshop set the strategy and positioning around one idea: skin in the game investing. From there we built the identity, brand guidelines and business assets, a one-page Webflow website, advertising, photography and video, and a 62-page sales brochure, all in little over a month.

First Light Capital went to market looking like an established fund from day one, and reached $200m+ in managed funds within the year.
